Usman Khawaja hit his second century in the ODI between India and Australia in 2019 after captain Aaron Finch won the toss and chose to bat first. Khawaja batted quickly, allowing Australia to put the Indian bowlers under pressure. This knock will always be special for the left-handed opener as it came in a series-winning cause against the Men in Blue in 2019. Khawaja in the third ODI match scored his maiden hundred in Ranchi. Australia’s batting first posted a total of 313 runs. Khawaja and the skipper Aaron Finch stitched a partnership of 192 runs. The former scored 104 runs off 113 balls and brought up his maiden ODI hundred. The Aussies defeated India by 32 runs with Virat Kohli’s 123 runs innings in the run chase going in vain.
