Cummins took the first hat trick against Bangladesh and followed it up with another one against Afghanistan. Aussies might have not had the best tournaments, but this is a moment that will stick with them.

2. Afghanistan beating Australia for the first time

This was perhaps one of the biggest upsets of the tournament, where we saw a spirited Afghanistan team beat the Australians for the first time not only in World Cups but in T20I history. This was the moment which we never saw coming as the Afghans, later on, went on to qualify for the semi-finals for the first time in T20 World Cups as well.
