2. Most hundreds scored in an IPL season

The batters really kept hitting hard and with batting friendly conditions available across the country it led to most tons being hit in an IPL season. The likes of Shubman Gill, Faf du Plessis, Yashaswi Jaiswal and Devon Conway were in roaring form which contributed to a truckload of hundreds which were 12 in total. In 2022, only eight of them were hit.

1. Highest number of 200 plus totals

The IPL 2023 was an absolute featherbed for batting. All teams enjoyed some sensational batting displays in venues like Mohali, Wankhede and for that matter Eden Gardens, Gujarat and Bangalore. The IPL saw the highest number of 200+ totals this season, with Lucknow Super Giants headlining the hammering with a 257-run total vs Punjab Kings.  There were 37 200 plus totals recorded in IPL 2023 as compared to just 18 of them in IPL 2022 which means there is 50 percent increase in this regard.
