1. 263/5 – RCB vs PWI, 2013

This match was no less than a thunderstorm. Christopher Henry Gayle brought destruction to the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Royal Challengers Bangalore had scored 263 runs against Pune Warriors India in the 2013 season at this venue which is still the highest score. Chris Gayle led the RCB batting unit and smashed an unbeaten 175 runs off just 66 deliveries to create the record for the highest individual score in IPL. Bangalore went on to win this match comfortably by 130 runs. 

2. 248/3 RCB vs GL, 2016

When two batting greats combine, they are able to produce the second-highest team total at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. In a group-stage match against Gujarat Lions in the 2016 season, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 248 runs in the first innings. This mammoth score could be achieved because RCB had two gentlemen by the name of AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli who scored centuries to decimate the opposition bowling attack. 

3. 227/4 RCB vs SRH, 2016

The third-highest total at this venue was also achieved by the local franchise. 2016 was a highly rewarding season for RCB batters and this total was also posted in that season. Batting first against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Bangalore scored 227 runs in the first innings. It was once again Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers who joined forces to produce a batting masterclass. Courtesy of their batting prowess RCB won this match by 45 runs.
