Top 3 highest run scorer for RCB in IPL

3. Chris Gayle (3163 runs) 

Star West Indies batter also known as The Universe Boss Chris Gayle has been one of the most entertaining batters of the Indian Premier League. Having scored multiple centuries Gayle has a legacy that rarely can be touched. In 2011 RCB roped in Gayle and the rest is history. He played 84 innings in 85 matches for RCB in the IPL between 2011 and 2017. He scored 3163 runs, including 248 fours and 239 sixes in his stint. He had five centuries and had 19 fifty-plus scores for RCB. He had an innings-high score of 175* which came against Pune Warriors India. 

2. Ab de Villiers (4491) 

Ab de Villiers aka Mr 360. The man from South Africa has an extensive fan base in India. He is one of the most loved foreign personalities in the country. However, all this is because of his amazing batting performances and breathtaking fielding efforts in the Indian Premier League. The star batter joined RCB in 2011. 

He played 144 innings in 156 matches for RCB in the IPL between 2011 and 2021, scoring 4491 runs. He also hammered 362 fours and 238 sixes, along with two centuries and 37 fifties. The highest score he scored was 133. During this, His strike rate was 158.63 and his batting average was 41.20.

1. Virat Kohli (6624) 

Virat Kohli is one of undoubtedly the biggest names in World cricket in recent years. His performance with the bat is unmatchable and his record with RCB is also unachievable. The former India skipper has been one of the most consistent players in the history of IPL. He played 215 innings in 223 matches for RCB in the IPL between 2008 and 2022. He scored 6624 runs including 578 fours and 218 sixes. He also hammered five centuries and 44 fifty including four centuries in the 2016 season.  His greatest score in an inning was 113. In 2016 he scored more than 900 runs becoming the highest run scorer in a season.
