Batting first, New Zealand posted a huge total of 216 runs losing just 1 wicket. Suzie Bates and Sophie Devine laid the foundation with their 182-run partnership for the first wicket. Devine got out after scoring 73 runs off 48 balls with four fours and four sixes. While Bates remained unbeaten after smashing 124 runs off 66 balls hitting 16 fours and three sixes. In reply, South Africa could only reach 150 runs losing 6 wickets.

Batting first, Bangladesh didn’t have a great start as they lost the first 2 wickets for just 19 runs. After that, Nigar Sultana and Fargana Hoque took charge of the innings and put up a historic unbeaten partnership of 236 runs with both batters scoring a ton. Sultana remained unbeaten on 113 runs off 65 balls with 14 fours and three sixes. While Hoque smashed 110 runs off 53 balls hitting 20 fours. In reply, Maldives Women were bowled out for just 6 runs in 12.1 overs.
