#1 246 in Guwahati in 2018 vs the West Indies
On October 21, 2018, Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and invited the West Indies to bat first. After putting in the bat, the visitors produced a remarkable 322-8 in their allotted 50 overs. In reply to that, while chasing, the stylish right-handed batters Virat and Rohit Sharma built up a 246-run stand for their second wicket after the Indian opener, Shikhar Dhawan, got out for only 4 runs. Dashing batter Virat Kohli struck 140 runs, whereas top-order batter Rohit Sharma was unbeaten at 152. India destroyed the West Indies by eight wickets in only 42.1 overs, winning the match convincingly.

This marked yet another spectacular partnership between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Indian star batter Virat Kohli and skipper Rohit Sharma achieved a remarkable 230-run partnership in an ODI game against New Zealand in October 2017. India was invited to bat first in that match. Notably, after putting the bat first, Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan was cheaply dismissed for just 14 runs. Once the chase master Virat Kohli stepped to the crease, he and Rohit Sharma together stitched a 230-run partnership against the Kiwis. During the game, the stylish right-handed batters achieved the century milestone. Virat Kohli collected 113 runs, whereas Rohit Sharma recorded 147 runs, which led India to win the match against a strong New Zealand side.
#3 219 vs Sri Lanka in Colombo in 2017
On August 31, 2017, the Indian Skipper won the toss and invited the Sri Lankan side to field first. After opting to bat first, the 34-year-old Virat Kohli and star opener Rohit Sharma stitched a 219-run stand against the visitors after the early dismissal of Shikhar Dhawan during the fourth ODI match at R. Premadasa Stadium. Notably, visitors set Sri Lanka a target of 375 runs, but they were all bundled out for just 207 runs, allowing India an overwhelming victory by a margin of 168 runs.
