On December 15, 2009, this match was played at Rajkot’s Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Ground. Notably, on this day, the legendary Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag put together an opening stand of 153 runs; subsequently, Sehwag and MS Dhoni stitched a partnership of 156 runs for the second wicket, which helped the Indian side put up a massive total of 414 runs in just 50 overs.
