On 15 September 2023, England won the four-match ODI series 3-1 against New Zealand. With that convincing series victory, it’s looking like England are ready to defend their World Champion title in this upcoming ODI World Cup in India. Over the years, fans have witnessed top performance from this team in the 50-over format as England’s attacking approach has become a popular template in the world of Cricket. Alex Hales was the star as he scored 171 runs off 122 balls, including 22 fours and four sixes. In reply, the Men in Green got bundled out for 275 runs and England won that game by 169 runs. Hales won the Player of the Match award also. He notched up the century in just 83 balls.

Jason Roy is in the second spot with this 180-run knock that came against Australia in Melbourne in 2018. It was the first ODI and the Aussies batted first. They put up a 305-run target and in reply, Roy showed his power-hitting skills. He smashed 180 runs off 151 balls, including 16 fours and five sixes. England chased down the target in 48.5 overs with five wickets in hand. Roy also bagged the Player of the Match award.

Ben Stokes tops the chart with this 182-run knock against New Zealand in the third ODI at the Oval in 2023. England batted first and Ben Stokes lit up the stadium with his big shots. He smashed 182 runs off 124 balls, including 15 fours and nine sixes. His inning was crucial as they posted 368 runs in 48.1 overs. In reply, the Kiwis got bundled out for 187 runs in 39 overs and hence, England won the game by 181 runs. Stokes won the Player of the Match award also.
