Aussie Fast bowler Pat Cummins made history in Antigua during the T20 World Cup match, becoming just the second Australian and seventh overall to achieve a hat-trick in this format. Cummins’s remarkable feat unfolded in the match against Bangladesh at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. 

He took two crucial wickets in the final two deliveries of his third over and then secured his hat-trick by dismissing Towhid Hridoy with the first ball of his next over, caught at short fine leg. Cummins’s impressive figures of 3-29 were instrumental in Australia’s efforts to restrict Bangladesh to 140-8.

Pat Cummins achieved a historic feat during Australia’s Super Eight match against Afghanistan in the T20 World Cup at Kingstown, St. Vincent. He secured his second hat-trick of the tournament, making him the first bowler ever to achieve this in T20 World Cup history.
