Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 257 runs and the run chase was not going to be an easy task for Australia. Lanning stole the show and carried her team to the target very comfortably. She scored 152 runs and stayed unbeaten. In the end, Australia won the match by 8 wickets.

Here is another outstanding unbeaten hundred from the former Australian captain. These runs were also scored in a run chase. However, this was not as arduous a run chase as the earlier one. The Aussies were chasing 221 runs in the second innings. Australia had a horrible start as they lost both the openers in the first five overs. Lanning did not let West Indies make further inroads and stitched an unbeaten partnership to lead her team to victory. Her 135 runs proved to be decisive as Australia won the match by 8 wickets.
