Top 3 bowlers to watch out for in DC vs LSG Clash

Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants kick off their IPL 2025 campaign with the huge clash on Monday. Visakhapatnam will host the huge encounter which will feature some huge names. Delhi Capitals have made heavy investment ahead of the new season which includes former LSG skipper KL Rahul and former IPL winner Mitchell Starc. Delhi have already named Axar Patel as their new skipper for the season. 

Lucknow on the other hand will be led by former DC skipper Rishabh Pant. The 27-year-old was picked for 27 Crores by LSG during the Auctions. Pant will be coming up against his former side to prove a point. The likes of Nicholas Pooran, and David Miller will also be keen to play their part. Shardul Thakur has been drafted by LSG to replace the injured Mohsin Khan ahead of the season.

3. Mitchell Starc

Australian seamer Mitchell Starc played a key role with the ball when KKR won the title last year. Starc, who was the costliest player in IPL history last season was released by KKR at the end of the campaign. The left-arm seamer will be a handful with the new ball as he can swing the ball in and away from the batters. The veteran seamer is also a huge player with the ball towards the backend of the innings as he can bowl Yorkers at will.

2. Ravi Bishnoi

Young leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi was retained by LSG ahead of the Auctions in November. Bishnoi, has already proved that he is a huge wicket taker in the middle of the game. On many occasions the young spin bowler has also shown his class with the ball when called to bowl in the powerplay overs. The pitch in Lucknow will assist the slower bowlers and Bishnoi will have a huge role to play with the ball for his side. 

1. Kuldeep Yadav 

Left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav is coming into the new IPL season on the back of his exploits for India in the Champions Trophy. Yadav had a great season with the ball for Delhi last season and the Capitals struggled when Yadav missed a few games due to injury. Kuldeep Yadav will be keen to battle it out against Pant as both are great friends on and off the field and the bowler will know all the tricks his former skipper will have up his sleeve with the bat.
