Top 3 batting performances of Chris Broad in Tests

Chris Broad was a talented batter who played mostly in the second half of the 1980s. Despite lasting for just five years at the highest level, he had a career many would dream of. Chris scored over 1000 runs at a batting average of over 39 in both Tests and ODIs. He was a runner-up in England’s campaign in the ODI World Cup 1987. Tests seemed to be his best forte.

In the longest format of the game, he played some exceptional knocks for England. The best of them came in the Ashes 1986/87, which was England’s last away Ashes win till 2010/11. Batting away from home, he smashed three hundreds and played a key role in England’s series win. It is time to look at how good these innings were that helped England to win the series.
