Three players to watch out for in India B vs India C Duleep Trophy 2024 match

The first round of the Duleep Trophy 2024 ended with Team India B and Team India C gaining victory. Skippers of both teams did a fair job in handling the team and getting past the victory line. In the 2nd leg of the tournament, the winners will play against each other and the losers will face each other. While some players like Shubman Gill, Kl Rahul, and many more left for the upcoming Bangladesh series, BCCI rearranged the teams once again and added a few players like Rinku Singh. Moreover, only Team India C, led by Ruturaj Gaikwad remained unchanged as no players were selected from the team. Since the match is between Team B and C, there are a few players who are absolutely brilliant and have done wonders for their teams in the past.

Let’s discuss the three players to watch out for in India B vs India C game:

Ruturaj Gaikwad

Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad of Team B is definitely the player to watch out for as he’s an incredible player with marvelous batting strategies and skills. In the previous game he scored valuable 46 runs in the 2nd innings giving a great start to the team. It was much needed as the middle order batters later improvised on the momentum and finally went on to win the game. Gaikwad is a classic batter and has a very good average in domestic cricket. He’s also a brilliant opener who loves attacking the bowlers whenever needed. Moreover, his cool and calm nature makes him extra special.

Navdeep Saini

Team India B’s all-rounder Navdeep Saini’s batting in the first game was outstanding. He batted better than players like Shubman Gill and KL Rahul as he saved the team from losing the match. He built a stable partnership with Musheer Khan and held the innings from one end. He scored 56 runs off 144 balls and it was because of his efforts, Team India B could put up a good score on the board. Moreover, in the bowling department he claimed three wickets in the first innings and two wickets in the 2nd innings. Overall, he was the real Player of the Match for his all-round performance in both the innings.

Musheer Khan

The young and talented batter of Team India B, Musheer Khan smashed a beautiful town in the first game. He scored 181 runs off 373 balls including 16 boundaries and seven sixes. It was mainly because of him Team B put up 321 runs on the board in the first innings. The 19-year-old boy played like mature adults and smashed all the bowlers. He also played some classy shots against Kuldeep Yadav and troubled him since he is a good player of the ball. At such a tender age, scoring against the spin wizard of India, Musheer did a fantastic job. All credit goes to him for his team’s victory against Team India A which had all the star players in it including Rahul and Gill.
