When it comes to knockout games Sydney Sixers are a different beast and this season, they displayed that avatar in the playoff against Brisbane Heat. Sydney delivered a phenomenal bowling performance in the playoff to make their way to the final.

They were defending 153 runs in the second innings and it was a challenging task because Brisbane boasted a strong batting unit. However, the Sydney Sixers bowled out Brisbane for 113 runs with the help of Ben Dwarshuis’ 5-wicket haul.
