Stuart Broad recently announced his retirement from international cricket following Ashes 2023. He is currently playing in his final Test match in the final Ashes 2023 Test at the Oval, London. While his announcement shocked the entire cricketing community, fans cannot help but rewind and reminisce about Broad’s finest cricket memories. In the first Test of 2013’s New Zealand tour of England, Stuart Broad dropped his best performance against the Kiwis. The hosts elected to bat first after winning the toss at the Mecca of Cricket. They managed 232 before being bundled out. In reply, the Black Caps were only able to reach 207 with James Anderson wreaking havoc on the batters. Stuart Broad returned with one wicket. He contributed with 26* off 25 balls while batting in the second innings as England reached 213. In the final innings of the match, New Zealand were bowled out for 68 runs with only James Anderson and Stuart Broad bowling among themselves. Broad scalped seven wickets for 44 runs in 11 overs. He was awarded the ‘Man of the Match’ for his fabulous performance.

In the second Test of 2013’s England tour of New Zealand, the visitors were called on to bat first by New Zealand following their win in the coin toss. The Englishmen dropped a massive batting performance scoring 465 runs. In reply, the Kiwis were bowled out for 254 with Stuart Broad scalping six wickets for 51 runs in 17.2 overs. He got the wickets of Hamish Rutherford, Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, BJ Watling, Neil Wagner, and Trent Boult. They were forced to follow on and Kiwis salvaged a draw with their resilient batting.

In the second Test of 2018’s England tour of New Zealand, the hosts won the toss and invited England out to bat first. They managed 307 before being bowled out. In reply, New Zealand were bundled out for 278 runs with Stuart Broad scalping six wickets for 54 runs in 22.3 overs. He got the wickets of Tom Latham, Ross Taylor, Henry Nicholls, Colin de Grandhomme, Ish Sodhi, and Trent Boult. England scored 352 before declaring their second innings. The Black Caps salvaged a draw by surviving in the final innings at 256/8 at the end of play.
