Star cricketer-turned-commentator Ian Bishop was born today in 1967

Former West Indian cricketer and veteran commentator, Ian Bishop, is celebrating his 56th birthday today. Bishop had a small but impactful career for West Indies but his contributions with the mic have been even more significant to the world of Cricket. His Cricket Caravan

Bishop got to wear the Caribbean colors for the first time in 1988 when he played for the West Indies against England. In the longest format, he made his debut against India in 1989. His ODI career was as illustrious. In the white ball cricket, he picked up 118 wickets in 84 matches, once again at an impactful average of 26.50.
