A title-winning victory would surely top this list. Sunrisers Hyderabad lifted their first and only IPL title in 2016 after beating Royal Challengers Bangalore in their backyard in the decisive clash. It was certainly a challenging task but a spirited team under David Warner’s leadership did the job.

Batting first they scored 208 runs giving RCB a huge target but Bangalore had a star-studded batting order. The chasing side came very close; however, Hyderabad’s resilience carried them to the ultimate glory. SRH eventually won the match by 8 runs to lift their first-ever IPL title

Two seasons later Sunrisers Hyderabad qualified for their second final and it was this victory that ensured their place in the final against Chennai Super Kings. After losing the first qualifier it was a die-or-die encounter for Hyderabad and the team responded the way it needed to.

Sunrisers met with Kolkata Knight Riders in the second qualifier at the Eden Gardens. In the first innings, the 2016 IPL champions ended up with 174 runs. With the ball, the bowling unit did what they had been doing throughout the season. Sunrisers restricted KKR to 160 runs to clinch the match by 14 runs.

Qualification for the first-ever final tastes different. Sunrisers Hyderabad fans experienced this bliss when their team defeated Gujarat Lions in the second qualifier of the 2016 season. Gujarat had dominated every opposition over that campaign and the challenge was massive for Hyderabad but the team was determined to overcome any hurdle. Chasing 162 runs in the second innings Hyderabad won the match by 4 wickets in a thrilling fashion. Captain David Warner led the team with his unbeaten 93 runs in a tricky run chase.
