Ranking Wayne Parnell’s Top 3 Performances in ODI Cricket

Wayne Parnell burst onto the scene as a talent that could bowl fast and also wield the bat with considerable ease. South Africa had pinned their hopes on Wayne Parnell becoming an able ally to Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel across all formats. Born on the 30th of July 1989, Wayne Parnell has had a stop-start career for the Proteas.

Aged just 19 in early 2009, Wayne Parnell made his ODI debut versus Australia in Perth. The youngster didn’t get a chance to bat as South Africa scored 288/6 from their 50 overs. Wayne Parnell bowled 10 overs and picked the key wicket of Brad Haddin for 63 and gave away 52 runs.
