New Zealand pace sensation Trent Boult is set to turn 35. The left-arm pacer has been a huge asset for the Black Caps across all formats. It is his form in T20 Cricket that made him a star performer for the better part of the decade. Boult called time on his T20 Career after New Zealand were knocked out in the first round of the 2024 T20 World Cup.
Trent Boult played a total of 61 matches for the black caps and picked 83 wickets. His best figures were 4/13 which was one of the two times when he had picked four wickets in this format. His economy rate of 7.68 is counted as one of the top most for a fast bowler in this format of the game.

Trent Boult saved his best performance in T20I cricket during the T20 World Cup 2022 match versus Sri Lanka. The Kiwis batted first and scored 165 on the board with Glenn Phillips scoring 104 off 64 balls. The Sri Lankans saw Trent Boult dismiss Kusal Mendis for 4 followed by Dhananjaya De Silva for a duck and Charith Asalanka for 4. The final wicket of Dasun Shanaka meant that Boult ended the day with figures of 4/13 which is his best in T20I cricket.
