The previous ten years have seen significant advancements in cricket as a result of advances in technology and financial backing. Together with basketball and football players, cricket players are now among the most paid athletes. Also, the governing bodies profit greatly from sponsorships and TV broadcast agreements. Here are the top three richest cricket boards of all-time.

1. BCCI

With a net worth of $2.25 billion, the Board of Control for Cricket in India is without a doubt the wealthiest board in the world. In light of the board’s $2.9 billion overall net value, experts compare it to ICC. The BCCI generated $467 million in total revenue in 2021 through sponsorships, TV broadcast agreements, and IPL money.

Byju’s, MPL Sports, Paytm, Dream 11, Hyundai, and Ambuja Cements are major companies that have had partnerships with the Indian National Team and BCCI. Furthermore, Star Sports is the party to the TV broadcast agreements.

2. England Cricket Board

The second-richest cricket boards are represented by the England Cricket Board. Together with the broadcasting agreement with Sky Sports, the squad is eligible for a number of sponsorships.

Vitality, Royal London, Lifebuoy, New Balance, and Cinch are a few of the key sponsors. The ECB has a net worth of almost $59 million. While the revenue earned by the board in 2021 is $293 million.

3. Cricket Australia

The most usual team is the Kangaroos since they are almost impossible to defeat. Australia, a team that is known for playing aggressively, has excelled in cricket history. They recently won the 2021 T20 world championship, and Cricket Australia made a tidy $356 million in 2021.

The Australian Cricket Board now has a net worth of over $70 million. Vodafone, Commonwealth Bank, ASICS, and Dettol are the principal sponsors. Fox Sports is the primary TV broadcaster, however.
