Shikhar Dhawan played his best T20 knock against West Indies at Chennai in the 3rd match of the T20 series between the two teams. Batting first West Indies scored 181 runs and posted a challenging target for India to chase in the second innings. India’s start was also not assured as Rohit Sharma got out cheaply. India also lost KL Rahul in the powerplay and then Dhawan built a partnership with Rishabh Pant. He took the initiative of dominating West Indian bowlers by playing attacking cricket. A 130-run partnership with Rishabh Pant sealed the deal for India and Dhawan emerged as the player of the match for his splendid knock.
