Auctioned for 11.5 Cr, Phil Salt is the second most expensive player bought by RCB. He can prove to be quite beneficial with Dinesh Karthik retiring, he can take up the role of the wicket-keeper. It is also known that on the field, it takes time for Virat Kohli to settle in, Phil Salt can be the one to take the pressure off-of Virat during the power play.

2. Nuwan Thushara:

Nuwan Thushara

Auctioned at 1.6 Cr, Tushara is one of those bowlers who are compared to Malinga owing to his bowling attacks. Known for his death overs, Tushara is one of the most sensible buys by RCB. It is difficult to score runs for the opponent team in any stadium owing to Indian conditions when it comes to Tushara’s bowling attack. It will be interesting to see if Tushara turns out to be the lucky charm for RCB and helps them get their title win.
