Pat Cummins’ best Test spell came during the first game against Sri Lanka, which was played on January 24, 2019, at the Gabba in Brisbane. Notably, the right-arm pacer took four wickets in the first innings and six wickets in the second innings and single-handedly guided his side to win the game by an innings and 40 runs. Speaking about the game here, Sri Lanka were bundled out by 144 and 139 runs in the first and second innings, respectively. However, during the chase, Australia was all out for 323 in the first inning, which helped them get the win.

Pat Cummins’ second-best Test spell came during the second Test game against South Africa played on November 17, 2011, at Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. The star cricketer picked up one wicket in the first inning, and he had six scalps to his name in the second inning to help his team win the game. Speaking about the game here, South Africa were bundled out for 266 and 339 runs, respectively. However, during the chase, Australia managed to get 296 and 310 runs to win the game by two wickets.

This was one of the greatest Test matches played between Australia and New Zealand, where Pat Cummins picked up a five-wicket haul to single-handedly guide his side to an epic win. Speaking about the game here, Australia posted 467 and 168 runs in the first and second innings, respectively. However, New Zealand could only manage to get 148 and 240 runs, making them lose the game by 247 runs.
