The right-arm pacer’s second-best spell came against New Zealand during the second ODI, which was played on December 6, 2016, in Canberra. Speaking about the game here, Australia posted a massive total of 378/5 in the given 50 overs, thanks to the magnificent batting from David Warner, who made 119 runs to post the great total. However, Pat Cummins scalped four wickets and bundled them out for just 262 runs, making them win the game by 116 runs.
8-1-23-3 vs Pakistan, 2019, Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi
Pat Cummins’ third-best spell came against Pakistan during the third ODI, which was played on March 27, 2019, at Abhi Dhabi. Speaking about the game here, Australia had posted 266/6 in the given 50 overs. However, Pat Cummins took a three-wicket haul and bundled out Shoaib Malik led Pakistan by just 186 runs and won the game by 80 runs.
