Ranking Doug Bollinger’s Top 3 Performances in ODI Cricket 

Douglas Erwin Bollinger was a professional cricketer for Australia. He played a lot of cricket for New South Wales in first-class cricket. After Glenn McGrath’s retirement, Doug Bollinger was part of the Australian team. He used to bat left-handed and used to bowl left-arm medium fast. On 24th April 2009 Doug Bollinger made his ODI against Pakistan in Dubai International Cricket Stadium. During the same series against Pakistan, he got his first five-wicket haul and was named as Man of the Match. 

Doug Bollinger played 39 ODI for Australia and picked 62 wickets. In 2010 he was part of the ICC ODI cricket team and he also played in the Indian Premier League. He played for Chennai Super Kings in the 2010 IPL.

1. 5/35 Doug Bollinger vs Pakistan

In the 4th ODI against Pakistan Australia was bowling as Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first Pakistan posted a total of 197 runs as Dough Bollinger took 5 wickets haul and gave only 35 runs. However, Australia won the game by 8 wickets. Michael Clark scored a century. For his bowling performances, he was awarded with the Man of the Match award.

In the 6th against India Australia was bowling as India won the toss and selected to bat first.  India managed to score only 170 as Dough Bollinger took five wickets and gave 35 runs. Australia chased down the score and won the game by six wickets. For his brilliant performance and five wickets haul he was given Man of Match. Australia chased down in 41.5 overs.

3. 4/28 Doug Bollinger vs West Indies

Australia was on tour of West Indies in 2nd ODI West Indies chose to bat first but Australia stopped West Indies on the score of 170 runs as Dough Bollinger took four wickets and gave 28 runs. Australia chased down the total in just 26.3 as Shane Watson scored 53 runs. Due to four wickets Dough Bollinger was awarded with Man of the Match.
