107 vs Bangladesh, 2010

The 2010 T20 World Cup winner made his only century in international cricket against Bangladesh in his debut series and impressed everyone with his talent. He played this knock in the 3rd match of the ODI series between the two teams in Chattogram. The Three Lions batted first and Kieswetter opened the innings with the skipper Alastair Cook. The opening pair gave a solid start and Kieswetter continued his innings even after Cook’s dismissal. 

He stitched crucial partnerships with Paul Collingwood and Eoin Morgan to take England to 284 runs in the first innings. England won this match in the end by 45 runs and Craig was adjudged the player of the match for his well-made century that played a huge role in England’s comfortable victory over Bangladesh.

72* vs Sri Lanka, 2011

The former wicketkeeper played this unbeaten knock against Sri Lanka in the 4th match of the ODI series at Nottingham. Batting First, the Lankan Lions were bowled out 174 runs because of England’s dominating display with the ball. The target was small but Sri Lanka had a tricky bowling attack. The opening pair of Alastair Cook and Craig Kieswetter gave a brilliant start to England and negotiated the opening spell. The duo kept batting in the same fashion and carried England across the finishing line in the 24th over without losing a single wicket. 

69 vs Scotland, 2010

The former Somerset player played this knock against the neighbouring rivals, Scotland. In the one-off One-day series in Edinburgh, Scotland batted first and scored 211 runs. He once again opened the innings with the English captain but this time a different one, Andrew Strauss. They added 121 runs for the first wicket which gave an edge to England over the opposition. In the end, England chased down the target with 7 wickets in hand and cruised to a comprehensive victory.
