The first Twenty20 International between Zimbabwe and Pakistan will be held on Sunday, December 1, the two teams will play each other at the Queen’s Sports Club in Bulawayo. Both teams have recently participated in three ODIs. The Men in Green secured the series with two consecutive victories after Zimbabwe won the opening ODI.

Pakistan will be hoping to record more victories and put up a similar showing in the shortest format as the T20I series approaches. Conversely, Zimbabwe will be looking to capitalize on the home edge.

Top Order:

Brian Bennett and Wessly Madhevere

Brian Bennett and Wessly Madhevere will open the batting attack for the team. In 21 T20Is Brian Bennett scored over 483 runs with an average of 25.42. While Wessly Madhevere scored 1158 runs from 69 T20Is. Both the openers have good experience. While captain  Sikandar Raza will come down the order. Raza is anticipated to be Zimbabwe’s strongest batter.

Middle Order:

Clive Madande and Ryan Burl

Clive Madande and Ryan Burl will their to help the middle order of the batting. Ryan Burl will be an important batter in the team because of his experience. In 82 T20Is he scored 1303 runs. His batting skills will help the team to reach the fight-able target as they are playing against a good team. Tadiwanashe Marumani will add power to the middle order. His hard-hitting skills can take the game to Zimbabwe’s side.

Lower Middle Order:

Faraz Akram and Wellington Masakadza

Faraz Akram and Wellington Masakadza will help the middle order if they get in trouble. Faraz Akram can bat well while Wellington Masakadza can do some power-hitting. Wellington Masakadza scored 192 runs and can bat when needed. While he picked 41 wickets.

Lower Order:

Blessing Muzarabani

Blessing Muzarabani is perhaps the most fascinating fast-bowling player to come out of Zimbabwe since Heath Streak. He can extract high speed and bounce and has a whip-like movement that is reminiscent of Kagiso Rabada. Ngarava has developed into one of the Zimbabwe bowling unit‘s pillars over time. While Brandon Mavuta will be the lone spin bowler in the team and will help the fast bowlers.
