Predicting Zimbabwe’s Playing XI for their 3rd T20I against Pakistan

The Zimbabwe team has already had a disappointing campaign in the series against Pakistan. After a great win in the first ODI, it has been downhill for the host nation and they will want to make a comeback in the upcoming match during the 3rd T20I where they will want to make the most out of the last game to at least finish the disappointing series on a high and pick the perfect XI.

The Zimbabwe team might have some talented cricketers in the setup but their performances have still not been on par. The series against Pakistan has also been disappointing for them where the last match saw them getting bundled out for just 57. This will still be an important match for them where they will be looking to get the better of the Pakistan team in the last game.

So, here is the predicted playing XI for Zimbabwe in the last and final match-

Top order:

Predicting Zimbabwe's Playing XI for their 3rd T20I against Pakistan
Tadiwanashe Marumani

The batting has not been the best in the series for Zimbabwe and even though Tadiwanashe Marumani, Bennet, and Myers have played some decent knocks in the past, they have not managed to do a lot in the series so far. The team will still back these three players and hopefully, they can live up to the expectations in the last and final match where they will be tested once again.

Middle order:

Sikandar Raza

Skipper Sikandar Raza is still one of the key players in the Zimbabwe team and even Ryan Burl is known for playing some destructive innings. Though Clive Madande has not proved himself as an asset to the team, the fact that the team needs an extra batter and he will still be backed by everyone in the last game as well. This will be a chance for the middle order to finally give a great performance.

Lower-middle order:

Wessly Madhevere

It will be time for Zimbabwe to use the likes of Wessly Madhevere as an all-rounder option which can also add a little depth to the team as well. Wellington Masakadza has been one of the most reliable spinners for the team and his assistance will be required in the upcoming match with the pitch becoming slow and low. These two players can make a huge difference and it will be interesting to see what they will have in store going forward.

Tailenders:

Blessing Muzarabani

The bowling attack has been disappointing as well, especially the pace attack. We know the likes of Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani have been great in the past but they have ended up being one of the most expensive bowlers in the last two games. Gwandu will also look to prove himself. Overall these three pacers have to put their best foot forward in this last and final match.
