Predicting West Indies’ Playing XI for their 3rd ODI against England

West Indies came into the second ODI after their easy win in the first game to take 1-0 lead in the series. Despite scoring 328 on the board thanks to Shai Hope’s 17th ODI ton the home team lost to the visiting side. The third and final game will prove decisive for the hosts who have shown good form in recent times and marked improvements.

Speaking at the end of the game, Shai Hope said “Personally I thought it was a decent score, the outfield was heavy, the surface was up and down, but it was not enough. We need to be more disciplined, first game we showed that, we were a bit off today, we did not execute our plans well.”

The 30-year-old also said “We gave them a lot of easy options to score and when you play international cricket, the guys will capitalise and that’s what happened. The guys played really well, Keacy played really well, he has put a lot of work behind the scenes, Rutherford has got four 50s in a row now and Hettie with a nice cameo. Happy with the batters.
