Top order: Chamari Athapaththu, Georgia Voll and Phoebe Litchfield(c)
This is the perfect top-order for the Thunder which has the perfect balance of match-winning ability and experience. Though Athapaththu has not been as consistent in the tournament, she is still a player who can play a big role during the crucial moments. On the other hand, Georgia Voll and skipper Phoebe Litchfield have been performing well and will want to continue their great form in the upcoming matches as well.
Middle order: Heather Knight, Anika Learoyd, and Tahlia Wilson(wk)
The middle order has not had a lot to do for the Thunder with Heather Knight playing a role well. Though Learoyd and Wilson have not made a huge impact so far, knowing that they still have a lot of potential they will still be backed by the franchise in the upcoming game and hopefully make use of their opportunity if they get it. They will have to make the most of it in the next game.
Lower-middle order: Sammy-Jo Johnson and Taneale Peschel
Though Sammy-Jo has been hot and cold this season, Taneale Peschel has been great this season with her medium pace. These two have some decent ability with the bat as well making them important players in the squad. They add a lot of depth to the playing XI and the Thunder would hope that they continue giving important spells and play some decent knocks down the order.
Tailenders: Hannah Darlington, Shabnim Ismail and Samantha Bates
Darlington and Ismail have played their role well being the ace pacers in the team and will most likely continue to do the same in the upcoming games as well. Bates also adds some variety to the team with her left-arm spinners even though she was expensive last match. These three are the proper specialists in the team who can create problems for any batting lineup in the tournament.
