Predicting Perth Scorchers Women’s playing XI for their match against Sydney Thunders Women in WBBL

Check out the Perth Scorchers Women’s playing XI. The WBBL is halfway done and we still have some great matches to watch going forward. This time we will be looking into the squad of the Perth Scorchers Women who are one of the popular sides in the tournaments and will be up against table toppers Sydney Thunder to get back their season on track and win against probably one of the top sides in the tournament.

The Perth Scorchers have not had the perfect season in the first 5 matches where they have lost twice and won 3 times and are currently standing 6th on the table. They will have to get more wins under their belt if they want to get their season underway and get some important points on the board. This will be a challenging game where they will be facing the Thunder at home.

So, here is the Predicted Perth Scorchers Women’s playing XI for their upcoming game vs Sydney Thunders Women:

Top order:

Beth Mooney

There is no doubt that Sophie Devine and Beth Mooney will be the key players in the matches with their experience but the Scorchers might have to make a change and put Maddy Darke in place of Hemalatha since she has been quite inconsistent and has not been contributing with runs so far. This top order can make a difference in making a big score against a really good Thunder side.

Middle order:

Mikayla Hinkley

The middle order has been a disappointment for the Scorchers and they will hope that the likes of Piparo and Jones finally live up to their expectations. Mikayla Hinkley can play some great knocks which she has done in the past. This will be an opportunity for the players to finally show that they deserve to be part of the playing squad and will hope to perform in the upcoming match.

Lower middle order:

Chloe Ainsworth

It will be better for the Scorchers to have two all-rounders in the lower middle order who can give them some runs. This will also be a great opportunity to bring in Leeson who along with Chloe Ainsworth can give you some runs with the bat and are more than reliable with the ball as well. These two players can help in adding more depth to the squad and win the games.

Tailenders:

Alana King

Alana King has been a champion bowler for the Scorchers and though Hoskin and Edgar have not had the best of matches they have still bowled some great spells in the past. The Scorchers will want these two to be in great form and continue to give those great spells and wickets in the tournament. Overall this will be the perfect bowling attack for the Scorchers.
