The New Zealand cricket team has won the first two games of the five-match T20I series against Pakistan. The Kiwis sans some of their top stars in the team have managed to beat the visiting side comprehensively in the opening encounters. In the first match, Kyle Jamieson’s four wickets routed Pakistan batting line up.
In the second match it was Tim Seifert who led the charge with the bat as he smashed the visitors to all parts of the ground. Speaking at the end of the game, skipper Michael Bracewell said “Very good bowling performance. We bowled well into the wind. The wicket has been under cover. There was extra bounce on it. The death bowlers bowled really well. We were happy at half time. It was tough bowling into the wind. Tried to hit it into the wind. We have been playing some good cricket”
Here is the likely NZ XI vs PAK in third T20I game
Top order

The hosts have seen their two dynamic openers Tim Seifert and Finn Allen come to the fore with the bat. Seifert was in his element as he scored 45 off 22 balls which included five sixes, four of which came in a single over off Shaheen Afridi. Finn Allen, on the other hand has continued his amazing form against Pakistan as he scored 38 off just 16 balls. If the two openers get going then the Pakistani team can stare at a huge total on the board,
Middle Order

Mark Chapman has made a slow start to the series scoring just one run from two games so far. The 30-year-old though is a classy player and has scored key runs for his national side in the past. Daryl Mitchell is yet another player who has the ability to change the course of the game with the bat and ball in the T20I format. James Neesham who is making his return to international cricket will be looking to pay the selectors hopes as with the bat. Neesham did well with the ball in the last game claiming two key wickets.
Lower-order

Young Mitchell Hay was the difference maker in the last game with his unbeaten 21. It was a key knock as the hosts had lost wickets at regular intervals at one stage. Skipper Michael Bracewell will be the key in the lower order with the bat as he can give the ball a fair whack. With the ball, Bracewell has been a consistent performer. Zakary Foulkes had a game to forget with the ball as he bowled three overs and was smashed for 32 runs. The pacer will want to improve his performances if he wants to keep his place in the side.
Tail enders

Kiwi seamers Jacob Duffy and Ben Sears did well with the ball in the second game to dent the Pakistani batters. The two stars have found the conditions to their liking and picked key wickets for their side. Ish Sodhi has made a great return to the team and bowled well in the chances that he has got so far.
