Predicting New Zealand’s Playing XI for the Second T20I Against Pakistan

After the ICC Champions Trophy New Zealand are playing against Pakistan in a five match T20I series. New Zealand got off to a good start to the series as they won the first T20I match of the series. Both the teams are back after recently ended Champions Trophy. As IPL is set to start main players of New Zealand are missing from the squad. For the series Michael Bracewell is captaining the side for the first time. 

On the other hand Pakistan have dropped Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan from the T20I side. Salman Agha is leading the side for the series. Pakistan needs to bounce back in the second T20I match of the series.

Tim Seifert

Tim Seifert and Finn Allen are two power openers who open the batting attack of the team. In the first T20I match against Pakistan Tim Seifert missed a well deserved half century by six runs. While chasing the target of 91 runs Tim Seifert scored 44 runs. While Finn Allen stayed not out as New Zealand won the game. Tim Robinson is a young batter who has played 10 matches and scored 193. 

Middle Order:

Mark Chapman

Coming to bat in middle Mark Chapman stabilized the batting order. He is an attacking batter who can change the way of the game. In 82 games he scored 1617 runs. He also has a century in T20I which is against Pakistan in Rawalpindi. Darly Mitchell is the backbone of the middle order. With his experience Darly Mitchell is a reliable player for the team. Mitchell Hay is a wicketkeeper-batter who can take the game in depth. In 6 T20Is he scored 52 runs.

Lower-Middle Order:

Michael Bracewell

Michael Bracewell can provide a stand to the team if other batters fail to score. He can bat and ball well. In 28 T20I he scored 672 runs and has got 28 wickets. Kyle Jamieson is back  in the squad after missing out for a long time. Playing in 14 games he picked 13 wickets but can be effective with bat sometimes.

Zakary Foulkes

Zakary Foulkes and Jacob Duffy are two pacers of the team.  In the first game Jacob Duffy bowling helped New Zealand to restrict Pakistan on 91 runs as he picked 4 wickets. Ish Sodhi is the only spin bowler in the team. He also picked two wickets in the last game.
