Predicting Melbourne Renegades Women's playing XI for their match against Brisbane Heat Women in WBBL

Get ready for the WBBL clash as we predict the Melbourne Renegades Women’s playing XI. The Women’s Big Bash League has begun and there are a lot of matches to look forward to in this contest. The next match we all will be looking forward to is the Melbourne Renegades Women who will be playing against last season’s runner-up Brisbane Heat Women on the 30th of October. This will be another interesting matchup where the Heat will be looking to finally come back from their heartbreaking final loss and Renegades will want to prove themselves after a disastrous season last year.

This is the 6th match of the tournament and the Melbourne Renegades Women will want to comeback as they failed to start their season well losing to the Sydney Sixers at Adelaide. This will be a tough match for the Women in Red as they are against an in-form Brisbane Heat-W side who have started off with a win. It will be interesting to see which players the Renegades choose for the upcoming game.

So, here is the predicted playing XI for the Melbourne Renegades Women’s:

Top order:

Alice Capsey

Though Emme De Broughe and Alice Capsey might have failed in the last game it still seems like they will be backed in the next game as well. Courtney Webb was one of the top scorers in the game and she definitely deserves a place in the XI against the Heat as well. Overall this still seems like a solid top order that can still create havoc on any bowling attack.

Middle order:

Sophie Molineux

It is the middle order that has kept the Renegades in the game and there is no need to change this order at all. Wareham was one of the best performers with both bat and ball and is fixed in the XI. Dottin and skipper Sophie Molineux might have had slightly underwhelming performances but will still be key players with their all-round abilities. These three players add a lot of depth and we all will be eager to see them perform.

Lower middle order:

Naomi Stalenberg

Naomi Stalenberg is still one of the most experienced players in the domestic scene and has played some great knocks. Even though she could not live up to her potential in the last game, there are a lot of reasons why she should be backed by the teams. Nicole Faltum still proved to be a solid keeper despite her failure with the bat and the Renegades will want her to give her best.

Tailenders:

Sarah Coyte

Sarah Coyte might not have had the best of days last match but will still be among the most reliable pacers in the team and Linsey Smith did bowl a decent spell as well. The only change we might see is bringing in Georgia Prestwidge for Milly Illingworth who had a terrible time in the game. Overall this will make a great bowling attack against the mighty Brisbane Heat- W side.
