Predicting India’s Playing XI for their second T20I match against Sri Lanka

India clinched victory over Sri Lanka in the 1st T20I match in Pallekele by 43 runs. In the 3-match T20I series, India is leading by 1-0. This was the start of the Gautam Gambhir and Suryakumar Yadav’s era, which will flourish in the future. Moreover, India’s batting have been exceptionally great and the bowling is amazing. In the first T20I, Riyan Parag showed his skills with bat, as well as with the ball, claiming three wickets. His spell was brilliant as the batters seemed to misunderstand every ball bowled, giving an advantage to the bowler. If India continues their form and momentum, they can win the series.

India’s top order seems very strong, with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill opening the batting. The left-right combination works well for the team and they’ll keep up the spirit. Then came in Suryakumar Yadav at No. 3 who smashed the Sri Lankan bowlers with his classic ‘Supla Shot’. The top-order has the strength to give a great start to the team helping the middle over batters to convert the momentum.

The middle order consists of players like Hardik Pandya, Riyan Parag, Rinku Singh, and Rishabh Pant. All the batters are in top-notch form and will be looking to smash the bowlers in the upcoming days. They showed some brilliant batting effort on the field, helping India reach a good target.

India’s bowlers are Mohammed Siraj, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi. The bowlers were outstanding throughout the match but the last five overs were fantastic where they made the comeback. Sri Lanka were 140 for two at the end of the 13th over. From there, the bowlers bowled terrifically clinching victory over the Lankan Lions.
