Australia have travelled to England to play a 5-match ODI series where they are leading in the series, 2-1. The matches have been quite interesting with the kind of players Australia have in their team. England, on the other hand, have been a little less impactful in the series because of their lack of players. They are playing the series without their skipper, Jos Buttler, who is suffering from an injury. Hence, without him, the team looks quite weak but they have managed to win one game, which is interesting.
Here’s the predicting XI of England:
Top Order
Phil Salt, Ben Duckett, and Will Jacks are the classic top-order batters. They haven’t been able to maintain a consistent score yet, but have produced a good knock in one or the other match. Jacks has been the standout player who has played brilliantly in some of the games. In three matches, he scored 146 runs, with an average of 48.67.
Middle Order
England’s middle order consists of Harry Brook, Jamie Smith, Liam Livingstone and Jacob Bethell. All the players are top-notch and can smash the bowlers out of the park. Skipper Brook even scored a century in the 3rd ODI, helping England get their much-needed victory in the series. This proves that the players have the potential to win the game for the team.
Bowlers
Brydon Carse, Jofra Archer, Matthew Potts and Adil Rashid are the bowlers of the English team. They have done a fantastic job throughout the series but weren’t able to help England win the game. In the last match, they will have to perform well and take the team past the victory line.
