Predicting Australia’s Playing XI for the 1st T20I against Pakistan: On a historic note, the Pakistan national cricket team began their white-ball tour in Australia. In the three-match ODI series, the visitors defeated the hosts 2-1. This occurred for the first time since 2002. In the three-match T20I series against Pakistan, Australia will try to set a new record after suffering a rare home white-ball series loss. Josh Inglis, the captain, will be the only member of the Australian team playing in the 20-over matches after they suffered a surprise 2-1 setback in the 50-over format. Pakistan’s quick’s have been playing at their best, and all four of the fast players who excelled in the ODIs will be available for the Twenty20 matches.

The first T20I will start from 14th November and will be held in Brisbane. The three match test series will be interesting to watch as Pakistan are in confidence after winning the ODI series. Jake Fraser-McGurk and Matthew Short open the innings for the team. Both are hard hitters while Jake Fraser-McGurk can be a dangerous batter in T20Is. He is still young but can score a lot of runs when get chances. Matthew Short has played 11 matches and scored 252 runs. Marcus Stoinis will give support to the openers. Marcus Stoinis has experience of playing 71 and scored 1149 runs.

Middle Order:

Josh Inglis

Captain Josh Inglis will get support from Glenn Maxwell. Jos Inglis played 26 matches and scored 679 and had two centuries. While Glenn Maxwell will control the game as a dangerous batter in T20s. Glenn Maxwell scored five centuries in the shortest format. Meanwhile they will get support from Aaron Hardie. Though he doesn’t have much experience, during the ODI against Pakistan he showed his batting skills.

Lower-Middle Order:

Tim David

Tim David has a lot of potential in T20Is. He adds power to the team and his batting skills can change the game of the match. In 51 games he scored 1166 runs and has been part of the squad since ICC T20 World Cup. While Sean Abbott can bat well and provide runs on the scoreboard. However, he can be better with the ball than the bat.

Lower Order:

Spencer Johnson

Spencer Johnson and Nathan Ellis will open the bowling attack for the team. Nathan Ellis played 17 games and picked 28 wickets. His fast bowling will worry Pakistan batter. While Spencer Johnson will give him support as they will trouble the batter. Meanwhile Adam Zampa will help the team to take control of the game if fast bowlers are leaking runs. In T20Is Adam Zampa picked 111 wickets from 92 matches.
