Predicting Australia Women’s Playing XI for their second ODI against India Women

Australian women made an absolute mockery of the Indian women’s team in the first ODI match in the 3-match series. The Indian team were all out for 100 runs, which was disappointing. Australia won by five wickets, thanks to opener Phoebe Litchfield and Georgia Voll, who gave a brilliant start to the team. The Indian batters failed to do that and, hence, failed drastically. Even the Australian bowlers were excellent in their attack. In an ODI game, Australia bowled out India for just 100 runs, which speaks volumes about their bowling attack. They have to win one more game to clinch the series.

Here’s the predicted XI of Australia:

Top Order:

Phoebe Litchfield and Ellyse Perry

Phoebe Litchfield, Georgia Voll, and Ellyse Perry were the top-order batters of Australia. Litchfield scored 35 runs in 29 balls, and Voll scored 46 runs in 42 balls, including six boundaries and one six. They gave a dream start to the team, helping them clinch the match. They will look to continue with the same approach in the upcoming games as well to win the match.

Middle Order:

Tahlia McGrath and Ashleigh Gardner

The middle-order batters are Beth Mooney, Annabel Sutherland, Ashleigh Gardner, and Tahlia McGrath. These batters couldn’t score well in the game even though the score was extremely low. Voll remained till the end, which helped them win the game.

Bowlers:

Georgia Wareham, Alana King, Kim Garth, and Megan Schutt are the prime bowlers of Australia. Schutt claimed a fifer, helping Australia bowl out India. Apart from her, the other bowlers claimed one wicket each. It was a wonderful game of cricket, and the Australians will be looking forward to having the same approach in the upcoming game as well.
