Speaking about the match day, Zimbabwe skipper Regis Chakabva won the toss and invited the hosts to bat first. Notably, after being sent to bat first, it looked like the home team might cross 300 runs as the star opener David Warner struck a magnificent 94 runs from 96 balls, featuring fourteen boundaries and two sixes with a decent strike rate of 97, to give a flying start to his team. Notably, star bowler Ryan Burl had scalped five wickets, which dismantled Australia’s batting line-up. Later, while chasing, the visitors had a great start as their openers, Kaitano and Marumani, scored 19 and 35 runs, respectively. Later, in the end, skipper Regis Chakabva remained undefeated with 37 runs, along with Brad Evans, to guide his side to chase down the target with 66 balls remaining. Meanwhile, despite this loss, Aaron Finch’s side won the three-match series 2-1.
