Stuart Christopher John Broad, an English cricketer, was born on June 24th, 1986, in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England. He plays for his country mainly in Test Cricket. Stuart was envisioned to propel cricketing legacy forward since his father, Chris Broad, had been a former England opener. He possessed an innate fascination for bowling as a kid and devoted countless hours to enhancing his skills. Meanwhile, Broad played against Pakistan in his maiden international match in 2006. Given that it was a T20 match, he played admirably, narrowly missing a hat trick. On August 30, 2006, he featured in his first ODI game. On December 9, 2007, he debuted in his first test match against Sri Lanka.

Moreover, while relishing in his personal records, the hat-tricks that he struck in Test cricket stand as two of his finest feats. One took place in 2011, against India, whereas the second was in 2014, against Sri Lanka. He additionally possesses the honour of having been Lord’s first 10-wicket-hauling bowler after Ian Botham. The all-time highest stand for the 8th wicket of 99 runs involving Broad and Ravi Bopara in the six ODIs of the series against India in 2007 heralded an important moment in Broad’s tenure. Besides that, he grabbed four wickets and then went on to win his first Man of the Match award.
