On July 22, 1989, the cricketing world welcomed one of its future stars, Trent Boult, born in Rotorua, New Zealand. Today, as he turns 34, Boult stands tall as one of the most formidable bowlers in Kiwi cricket history. His journey to become a global cricket icon is a testament to his dedication, skill, and numerous achievements.

Trent Boult’s international career took off in 2011 when he made his Test debut against Australia in Hobart. In a memorable debut, Boult claimed three crucial wickets, including those of Mike Hussey and Mitchell Starc, helping New Zealand secure a rare Test victory over Australia. His performance in the 2015 Cricket World Cup further cemented his reputation as a lethal bowler, with 22 wickets at an average of 16.86.

Boult’s prowess caught the eye of IPL franchises, leading to his debut with the Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2015. He later showcased his talent with the Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians, before joining the Rajasthan Royals. In the IPL, Boult has consistently demonstrated his ability to perform under pressure, making him a valuable asset to any team.
