Most centuries scored against an opposition in IPL

Batting and bowling against any opposition determines the outcome of the game for a team. Lacking in either department can prove costly. Meanwhile, over the years, a lot of centuries have been scored by batters against different teams. In this listicle, we will discuss the three teams against which most centuries have been scored.

1. Mumbai Indians

The joint-most successful team alongside, Mumbai Indians, has dealt with the brunt of being hit for most tons by opposition batters. Despite winning the IPL title five times, they have been hit for 12 tons by opposition batters. Given the kind of bowlers they have had over the years, it is quite surprising to see opposition batters hitting them for 12 hundreds.

2. Kolkata Knight Riders

There was a time when KKR used to rule the league. Apart from winning the title two times, they played in the playoffs four times and a final in 2021. Meanwhile, since Gautam Gambhir’s departure from the team, it hasn’t been the same. Also, in the first three seasons, they struggled badly. Meanwhile, over the years, they have been hit for 11 hundreds.

3. Royal Challengers Bangalore

The three-time finalists name in the list isn’t a surprise for the fans. Over the years, there are hardly any seasons in which their bowling has been good. Most of the time (thanks to playing at the Chinnaswamy Stadium), their bowling has struggled a lot. This is the reason why they have faced the brunt of being hit for 11 hundreds.
