LLC 2024: Predicting Manipal Tigers’ Playing XI for their clash against India Capitals 

The Legends League Cricket (LLC) has begun and the tournament is looking quite interesting with only one team that has qualified for the playoffs. The match on the 10th of October will be between the Manipal Tigers and India Capitals and both these teams will be going into the match with a win under their belt and are in similar positions on the table so far in the competition.

The Manipal Tigers will know how important this game will be going into the second half of the competition and the Harbhajan Singh-led side would want another win under their belt after their tremendous win over the Gujarat Greats. This will be a big challenge for them as they will be against India Capitals who boast of some great players in the international scene.

So, here is the predicted XI for the Manipal Tigers going into the match: 

Top order:

Though these players might have not gone on to win play until the end in the previous games, they still had great starts in their last game. Mustard is known for his aggressive style of game at the top and Manoj Tiwary is one of the most experienced players who built some important partnerships in the last game as well. Pienaar impressed with both bat and ball as well in the match.

Middle order:

There will be some changes the Tigers might have to make and the first thing they will have to start with will be to get the experienced Solomon Mire in place of Angelo Perera who can play the role of number 4 and will be supported by the likes of Gunaratne and Perera as well. This will be a solid middle order that will help them against a strong India Capitals team going forward.

Lower middle order:

There is no doubt that these two will be the fixed players at this position, Christian can play some explosive cameos with the bat and if needed give you some great spells with the ball as well. Both Christian and skipper Harbhajan Singh are among the most experienced players in the setup and these two will be the most vital asset in the upcoming match. A lot will be expected from these two players.

Tailenders:

The bowling attack already has a lot of options and the Tigers might add Abu Nechim into the ranks for another pacer in the mix. Rahul Shukla and Praveen Guptra with his left arm spin already proved their worth in their last game and no doubt deserve a place in the playing XI going into this match. This will be the perfect bowling attack at Srinagar that can cause some problems for the Capitals.
