New Zealand is known for producing great cricketers. They produced terrific cricketers in T20 cricket. Their batters usually adopt an aggressive approach, which is the right way to bat in T20Is. Many such batters have set astonishing records in the format. Most of them have entertained the crowd with their batting performances. Such knocks have been remembered for a long time by the fans.
One such knock was recently played by Finn Allen in the ongoing series against Pakistan in the 3rd T20I. In fact, Allen has been brilliant throughout the series against Pakistan. Even in the first and the second T20Is, Allen was batting on a different level. He batted with good intent. In the third T20I, he created the record for the joint fifth highest score by a batter in a T20I match, which is a great feat.

3. Colin Munro
The Southpaw scored 109 runs against India in 2017 in their own backyard. The star batter took on the best bowling attack of the time and scored 109 runs in 58 balls which included 7 fours and sixes each. NZ managed to score 196 runs, thanks to a brilliant knock from the Southpaw. Chasing it, India could not help but get dismissed by a disciplined bowling from the Kiwi bowlers.
2. Brendon McCullum
The Kiwi batter was known for his aggressive batting. In two such instances, McCullum was the game changer for NZ with the bat. Against Australia, Brendon scored 116 runs in 56 balls which included 12 fours and 8 sixes. McCullum also has the second highest individual score for NZ. It came against Bangladesh in the T20 WC 2012. In 58 balls, the star batter scored 123 runs. The knock of McCullum included 11 fours and 7 sixes. It remained the highest score by a Kiwi batter in the format for 12 long years.
1. Finn Allen
The youngster became the Kiwi batter with the highest individual score in the format. In the match against Pakistan, Allen smashed the bowlers for fun. In his stay in the middle, Finn scored 137 runs from just 62 balls which included 5 fours and a whopping 16 sixes. In an over of Haris Rauf, the youngster scored 27 runs. It was like Allen hit the ball as fast as it was bowled at him.
