In these matches, Singh has scalped 27 wickets with a fine bowling average of 17.96 to his name. With these stats and his worth in the death overs of the game, Arshdeep Singh is ranked as the best death bowler ever played for the Punjab Kings in the history of the tournament.

He won the ‘Player of the tournament in 20-20 World Cup for amazing outings in favor of the World Champion England. 

Later on, Curran was picked by Punjab Kings during the mini-auction for a mammoth amount of INR 18.50 crores. He also became the most expensive player in the history of IPL. The star South African pacer Kagiso Rabada started his IPL career with Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2017, He played for DC in the IPL till 2021 before the Punjab Kings bought him during the mega auction for the Indian Premier League 2022 for an amount of INR 9.25 crores. He amazed everyone with his impressive bowling in IPL 2022 by scalping 23 wickets in 13 innings of the 13 matches he played. 

Later this year, in the IPL 2023, Rabada could play only in the 6 innings of the 6 matches he got to play for the Kings. In these matches, Rabada scalped seven wickets. With that, he has scalped a total of 30 wickets in 19 IPL innings for the Punjab Kings. Having these amazing numbers, the Proteas veteran emerged as one of the prime death bowlers for Punjab Kings in the history of the Indian Premier League.
