IPL 2025: Top 3 bowlers to watch out for in RCB vs DC clash

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru are all set to lock horns against the Delhi Capitals in the 24th thriller of the Indian Premier League 2025, slated to take place at the M. Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium. The two powerhouses will be looking to win this upcoming thriller to bolster their rankings in the points table.

Notably, the bowlers need to step up in this game, considering Chinnaswamy as the batter’s paradise. In the same vein, here are the three bowlers who can play a huge role in the outcome of the game.

1. Mitchell Starc

Mitchell Starc has bowled brilliantly in the IPL 2025 so far. The left-arm pacer has been threatening with the new ball, where he has claimed many wickets. With the old ball, he has contained a lot of runs.

Starc can dismiss some of the best batters in the world. Starc operates at a good pace and can swing the ball. His battle with Virat Kohli and Phil Salt at the top and Tim David towards the end might be decisive for DC in the context of the match.

2. Josh Hazlewood

Josh Hazlewood, like his Australian fellow teammate Mitchell Starc, has been brilliant in the IPL 2025 so far. The tall pacer has gotten a bit of extra bounce in almost every match. Along with it, he has generated a good amount of swing to get the better of the batters.

Hazlewood claimed wickets at the top to give his side the early momentum. With the old ball, he has mixed-length deliveries with the Yorkers as well. It is difficult to bat against someone like Hazlewood at this stage in his career.

3. Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep Yadav has been one of the best IPL spinners since joining DC in 2022. The chinaman spinner can turn the ball either way and trouble both the right-handed and the left-handed batters. On his day, Kuldeep can single handedly win matches for his side.

If Kuldeep has an off-day, he doesn’t go for a lot of runs. On odd days, he can bowl economical spells to help others to take wickets. His battle against Rajat Patidar and Jitesh Sharma could be interesting to watch.
