The Lucknow SuperGiants vs Punjab Kings are all set to face each other on 1st April, 2025 at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Team LSG seems to be in excellent form. During their previous match, which was against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, they showed an exceptional display. PBKS also won their previous match against SRH.

1. Nicholas Pooran 

Pooran made his IPL debut in IPL 2019,  auctioned at a huge price of 21 crore for this season, which is equivalent to that of Virat Kohli, Nicholas Pooran has proved his worth for the LSG side. He has been one of the most swift batters to score runs very quickly. He can be considered to be the best T20 batter in the world currently. In the previous match against SRH, Pooran showed his masterclass scoring 76 runs off 26  balls, until caught by Pat Cummins. He can prove to be a massive threat for the PBKS team in the upcoming match. 

2. Shreyas Iyer 

After leaving the Kolkata Knight Riders, Shreyas Iyer has taken up the captaincy role for the Punjab franchise. He is known for his calm and composed ways of handling the team. When it comes to his skills with the bat, Iyer helps in stabilising the middle order for the team, helping in scoring crucial runs for the team. Iyer also acts as an important force to help stabilize and accelerate the innings for the team. 

3. Rishabh Pant

The current captain of the Lucknow SuperGiants, Rishabh Pant has been showing his skills with the bat, but it is also important for him to move up in terms of the batting positions, to unfold his full potential. It is going to be interesting to see how he is going to perform during the match against PBKS.
