IPL 2025: Predicting Gujarat Titans playing XI vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

Gujarat Titans began their IPL 2025 season with a huge loss to Punjab Kings at home. Shubman Gill and his side then rebounded with a win at home against Mumbai Indians to get their first points of the season. This was followed by the huge win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru that gave Gill and his side their first win of the season away from home. 

Shubman Gill will be wary of the fact that Sunrisers Hyderabad are hurting after three successive losses. Playing in Hyderabad in front of the passionate SRH fans will be a huge task for the Titans who will want to win the game and move to the top two spots in the table.

Top order  

GT skipper Shubman Gill has made a slow start to the season with the bat in hand. There is no denying the class Gill has with the bat as he has been one of the best young talents in the league. Sai Sudharsan began the campaign with two successive fifties before falling for 49 in the game against RCB. On current form, Sai Sudharsan is one of the most dangerous batters in the league. 

Middle Order  

Former England skipper Jos Buttler put the RCB bowlers to the sword as he scored 73 runs from just 39 balls. Buttler was at his imperious best hitting fours and sixes at will which included a reverse scoop six off Hazlewood. Shah Rukh Khan and Rahul Tewatia haven’t got many chances with the bat so far but the duo can set the game on fire when needed and when the chance comes knocking on the door. 

Lower Middle Order  

Arshad Khan had a memorable comeback to the side vs RCB as he got the wicket of Virat Kohli for seven. Arshad is not only a decent bowler with the new ball but also can score key runs in the lower order. Rashid Khan hasn’t found his form yet with the bat as the Afghanistan spinner was smashed for 54 wicketless runs in his four overs by RCB batters. Sai Kishore put in yet another amazing performance as he claimed 2/22 from his four overs with the ball. 

Tailenders 

The best bowler for GT vs RCB was none other than Siraj who took three key wickets including that of Liam Livingstone. Siraj, has been bowling with good pace and has got the ball to move and take early wickets with the ball. With Kagiso Rabada gone, the onus of sharing the attack with Siraj will fall on Krishna and Ishant and the pair have done well so far in the last few games.
