With Philip Salt going back to the England squad Rahmanullah Gurbaz will be the perfect replacement for the swashbuckling keeper batter. Suni Narine has been in form with both bat and ball and is fixed in the KKR lineup and Venkatesh Iyer though has not been that consistent has proven to come good in some games and be effective. These will be the best top three in the tournament going forward.
Middle order: Shreyas Iyer, Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh
KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer has not been at his consistent best but has proven himself as a leader this season. The return of Nitish Rana has given the middle order the boost as well and Rinku Singh might have not got to play a lot with the bat but can still be useful on a good day for the side. So it is safe to say that this is a great middle order for the upcoming match.
Lower middle order: Andre Russell and Ramandeep Singh
Andre Russell has once again proven himself this season as an impactful all-rounder for the team playing the finishing role and also giving some great spells with his pace bowling. Ramandeep Singh has also been a great addition to the team with some of his lusty blows down the order all together these two will be effective in giving some vital performances down the order.
Tail enders: Mitchell Starc, Harshit Rana and Varun Chakravarthy
Mitchell Starc has finally found some form in the last phase of the tournament and will once again be a key bowler in the setup. Harshit Rana has been one of the upcoming performers of the season as well with his pace and variations. Varun Chakravarthy has been a reliable bowler once again and is among the highest wicket-takers in the tournament as well. Altogether this is one of the best bowling attacks in the IPL right now.
